Ole South is dedicated to the communities where they build. With the creation of the John Floyd Charitable Foundation, more than $1 million in financial, material and labor support has been given to various organizations throughout Middle Tennessee.

Recently Floyd, in partnership with the Rutherford County Home Builders Association, led an effort to renew the building trades vocational program at Oakland High School in Rutherford County. Floyd supplied materials, labor and political motivation to a project designed to replenish the skilled labor workforce in Middle Tennessee. Ole South is also actively involved in the Academy of Architecture & Construction at Nashville’s Cane Ridge High School, along with many other civic organizations.
